Day 1

GENERAL SESSIONSPEAKER: LEON PANETTA

A Monterey native and Santa Clara University School of Law graduate, Mr. Panetta began his long and distinguished public service career in 1964 as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Prior to his appointment as the U.S. Secretary of Defense by President Barack Obama, Secretary Panetta held a distinguished career in a variety of public office positions. As a public servant, he served as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, White House Chief of Staff, Director of the Office of Management and Budget, and a United States Representative on behalf of the California Central Coast. Concurrently, Mr. Panetta joined with his wife Sylvia to establish and co-direct the Panetta Institute for Public Policy, based at California State University, Monterey Bay.

FARMERS MARKET THEME: FRESH FROM US TO YOU!

Walk through your own farmers market and enjoy a farm to table experience. Taste fresh honey from the local farm down the street infused into your appetizers. Walk up to the famous artichoke stand and enjoy the vegetable prepared three ways. Next taste your way through a sommelier guided experience of the local wines. The possibilities are endless!

Along the way use your picnic basket to pick-up treats to enjoy later from honey sticks, to dried lavender and berry jam.

Day 2

BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE MONTEREY AQUARIUM

World famous aquarium! Today enjoy a behind the scenes tour and visit the famous sea otters. Learn about their rehabilitation process and how they are released into the wild

VINTAGE CAR ROAD RALLY TO BIG SUR

The views of the coast are in famous and today you will drive in a vintage car towards Big Sur where a private seaside lunch awaits!

CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA DINE AROUND

Everyway you turn there is a fairy tale dream in Carmel by the Sea. With so many quaint locations within steps of each other how do you pick one?

Day 3

TEAMBUILDING: BEEHIVE BUILDING, BEE PART OF THE SOLUTION

Worker with a local honey producer and learn how to build beehives to support the local habitat. Bees are an often overlooked species that needs our support to help sustain all the amazing things we love to eat.

OFFSITE DINNER: HOLMAN RANCH

Dinner at a hillside ranch that your group will have exclusive access to. Peek into the rooms that Charlie Chaplin and Doris Day stayed in and enjoy the fresh pressed olive oil and wines produced by the property.
